The 2013 Oscar Academy Awards will be held in just one week on Sunday, February 24. Just yesterday, it was announced that Oscar nominees Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence have been added to the list of presenters at the historic awards ceremony.
With the award ceremony quickly approaching, final votes are being placed in preparation for the big evening. All votes for the Oscars must be submitted by Tuesday, February 19. A total of 5,856 members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) are eligible to vote in up to 24 categories.
Traditionally, members of AMPAS have voted by paper ballots that were then returned via the mail. This year voting for the Oscars will be slightly different. Members of AMPAS now have the option to cast their ballots online, for the first time ever in the history of the Oscars.
